District Executive- Twin Bayou District Sam Houston Area Council. A Kentucky native, Katie is a graduate from Western Kentucky University, where she was the College Mascot, and holds a bachelors in biology and international affairs. Her previous job experiences and internships have been very unique from Walt Disney World to the International Center of Kentucky and even a few different zoos. These jobs provided Katie experiences in volunteer management, community relations, and youth educational programing. Now living in Houston and working for Boy Scouts of America, she serves as the liaison between the Twin Bayou District and the Sam Houston Area Council. The Twin Bayou District serves about 1,500 youth out of the total 26,000 youth council-wide.
