Effect of drought on Texas Economy

Joyce Beebe, Ph.D., is a fellow in public finance at Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy. Her research focuses on public policies at international, federal, and state and local levels and their economic impacts. Prior to joining the Baker Institute, Beebe was an international tax director at Grant Thornton LLP and an economist at Deloitte Tax LLP. She received her Ph.D. in economics from Rice University and is a chartered financial analyst (CFA) charterholder.
