Katie Scott, a proud native Houstonian and the CEO of CarePartners. Katie has spent nearly two decades leading programs and organizations that support older adults, individuals with dementia, and the family caregivers who care for them. Before joining CarePartners, she held multiple leadership roles at BakerRipley, where she directed dementia services, adult day programs, and large-scale health promotion initiatives. She’s also worked with the Alzheimer’s Association, coordinating community education and outreach efforts across the region.

Outside of her professional life, Katie is the mom of two boys—ages 12 and 9—who keep her skills in conflict resolution and crisis management exceptionally sharp. When she’s not leading teams or parenting future CEOs, Katie enjoys running, hiking, traveling, and baking. Her boys proudly serve as her dessert taste-testers and provide very unfiltered performance reviews.
