Dispute tied to proper pronunciation of last names
An unfortunate incident occurred after last Thursday’s club meeting when David Le Fevre fought with Terry LeFebvre. During the meeting David LeFebvre announced the Lamar FFA fundraising results. Terry LeFebvre was heard to mutter, “There they go again mispronouncing my last name.” A member hearing Terry’s utterance brought such to David’s attention, and this led to the two members yelling at each other over the correct pronunciation of their last names. The restaurant’s buffet line provided available ammunition for an ensuing food fight.
It is anticipated that neither member will be disciplined.
