Ziegler, Ullrich, and Kronzer attend Zone 21b Multi District Training Institute in Austin

You may not realize that the 500+ world-wide Rotary Districts are grouped in 34 zones. This past weekend Rotary International Zone 21b conducted its annual Multi District Training Institute (MDTI) in Austin, Texas. The MDTI’s purpose is to bring together Rotarians from around Zone 21b for training in particular areas of focus.

The areas of focus were the Rotary Foundation, Membership, and Public Image. Participants attended to share ideas and learn more about how to better accomplish Rotary International’s goals in these areas. Participants also had the opportunity to learn about Rotary issues from Rotary International Vice President and Zone Director Greg Podd. Mikail Davenport shared his experiences on the front line of Polio.

Our club was well represented. Terry Ziegler is the current District 5890 Rotary Foundation Chair. He also serves as the Zone 21b Paul Harris Society Coordinator. D5890 Paul Harris Society Advisor and Grants Qualification Coordinator Dee Ullrich attended as well as D5890 Rotary Foundation Chair Elect and Grants Trainer Wally Kronzer.
