What an amazing city we live in!

Last week, our guest was the first lady of Rock ‘n Roll - Dayna Steele. Dayna discussed the reality of coping with a family who struggled with Alzheimer’s.  She discussed how this disease changes a family and how to try to deal with the changing circumstances.

This week, our guest speaker is Erica Skerrett – Global Health Fellow of Rice 360: Institute of Global Health. This group is developing and implementing medical technology that is appropriate for developing countries. Full staff members further develop these technologies and run clinical studies domestically and internationally.

Words of “wisdom” to think about this week:
  • Your conscience is what hurts when all your other parts feel so good.
  • How do you write 0 in Roman numerals?
  • Did you hear about the restaurant on the moon? Good food but no atmosphere.
Have a great week. Peace!
