West U Rotary volunteer day on the morning of Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Camp For All.

Many of you know of the great work of Camp For All, a unique camping and retreat facility that enriches the lives of people with special needs and challenging illnesses about an hour from Houston in Burton, TX.  You can learn more at campforall.org.

West U Rotarians (spouses and friends) are invited to the West U Rotary volunteer day on the morning of Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Camp For All.  We will be carpooling from a central location.

What will we be doing?  That day, two groups of children will be there - Camp No Limits (children with missing limbs) and Camp CPals (children with cerebral palsy).  We will be assisting the program staff in facilitating activities for these two groups. We will be working either at the Ranch walking next to horses as campers ride, taking campers off the zipline at the Ropes Course, pushing canoes off the dock, or helping with fishing.

Each volunteer must complete a criminal background form at least two weeks before our volunteer day, which I'll provide at next week's meeting.

They can accommodate up to 20 volunteers in program areas at a time, so please email me if you would like to go with our West U Rotary volunteer group to Camp For All on the morning of May 14!
