As we turn the page to a new chapter in our Rotary journey, we are delighted to welcome and congratulate our incoming President, Stephen Smith, along with the newly elected Board Members for the 2025–2026 term.
We were especially honored to have Suzi Howe and PRID/DG Tom Kelchner lead the installation ceremony—a meaningful way to mark this important transition.
Stephen has long been a devoted member of our club, consistently exemplifying leadership, vision, and a deep commitment to service. With him at the helm, we are confident our club will continue to grow, thrive, and make a lasting impact in our community and beyond.
Excitement is equally high for our incoming Board. Each member brings valuable experience, fresh perspectives, and an inspiring passion for service. Together, we look forward to their ideas, energy, and collaborative spirit shaping a vibrant year ahead.
Thank you Carol G. for introducing our WURC After Hours Companion Club to the pet therapy work of Faithful Paws. These dedicated volunteers spent time, talent and treasure to get properly trained to become certified therapy dogs, cats and rabbits (plus their people), who can bring joy and relief with their visits to hospitals, senior centers, schools and workplaces. Our own Carol G. and her pup Suzy have done more than 30 visits around the region. These fabulous furry visitors sure made our evening and lowered our blood pressure.
Great times were had at the annual District 5890 Installation Dinner where the 2025-26 Board and District Governor are celebrated. Unite for Good is the Rotary International annual theme this year. Congratulations to our new District Governor, Tom Kelchner, and our new Club President, Stephen Smith.
